Join The Section

Who can Join:

    Membership in the Labor & Employment Law Section is open to any attorney who is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and who has an interest in labor and employment law.

What You Get:

    The benefits of membership include:

    • the latest edition of the Section's quarterly Newsletter hot off the press, without having to wait for it to be archived on the Website;

    • advance notice of CLE opportunities and discounts off the standard tuition;

    • many other benefits and services of which you will be notified during the year.

How to Join Up:

Join the Labor & Employment Law Section

    To join the Section, check the Labor & Employment Law "box" on the Section Dues Notice enclosed with your annual June 1st Texas State Bar Membership Fee Statement, and include payment of the Section's annual dues of $30.00 with your check to the State Bar.

    If you miss that opportunity, you may still join the Section at any other time during the year by paying your dues directly to the Treasurer at the following address:

    Your check, made payable to the SBOT Labor & Employment Law Section, should be in the total amount representing dues of $30.00 for each attorney joining the Section. You should also enclose a short note to the Treasurer providing the following information as to each such attorney: name, State Bar number, firm, address, and telephone /fax numbers. Please note that only individual attorneys, and not law firms, can subscribe to and become members of the Section.
